Personal developmentAs part of a personal development goal I have set for myself both in life and professionally, reading amazing Pilates blogs and content posted by others in the know is one of the most inspiring ways for me to learn.

It really is a privilege to have access to such a wealth of knowledge these days. It’s all waiting for us, we just need to explore a bit! I would love to share a few of the amazing Pilates blogs I love with you and I hope you are left feeling inspired to journey into your own self development whether it’s as an instructor, a student of Pilates or student of life!

The Jennifer Kries Blog

Jennifer Kries is a dancer, choreographer, author and Pilates Master Teacher. She is an amazing writer and inspires me to think about Pilates, teaching and exercise in a real artistic way – to look to the deeper meaning of what it is I’m doing. This is the link to her blog:

Benjamin Degenhardt refers to himself as a movement lover, a movement teacher and a mover. Also a former dancer, movement for him is the essence of a healthy lifestyle. Pilates Andrea

Andrea started out as a working actress in Washington and needed a way to get into shape and stay that way. This is when she started her journey with Pilates and since then it is abundantly clear that it has become so much more than just a way to stay in shape for her! Her blog posts are so real and completely engaging. They really make me think of my Pilates practice from all sorts of different angles and her witty sense of humour always shines through! I stumbled across Blogilates while looking for inspiration for my own fitness routine. I was looking for a few different exercises to change things up a bit and this is how I found Cassey Ho. She is so energetic and enthusiastic, one cant help but want to bounce along with her! Her colourful site is filled with exercise videos, recipes, monthly challenges and motivational stories to keep you inspired. Here is the link to her website:
