Studio 2 Pilates is situated in Mowbray, on Durban Road, in the Southern Suburbs. Our Pilates studio is one of the smaller studios in Cape Town. We pride ourselves in what we like to call our ‘Boutique Ladies’ Fitness Studio’.
By being a ladies-only studio, we provide a space that allows you to feel less intimidated and more confident in a non-judgemental environment. We offer group, private and semi-private classes. Each class is customised to suit your body and this allows you to experience everything each of these methods has to offer in the safest way.
We started as a Pilates studio and have gradually added other complementing classes to our offering as we’ve seen fit. By making this selection of classes available, we aim to remove the need to attend multiple facilities and provide a space that fulfils every woman’s fitness needs!
PILATES– Spend time re-aligning your body, improving your posture, strengthening your core and stretching out your tight muscles
BARRE – Incorporating cardio is a very important part of a balanced fitness routine. This class will get your heart pumping, your muscles burning and your body tingling with energy.
STRETCH – Enjoy some quiet time out by combining relaxing and revitalising stretching techniques in a class designed to gently ease tightness and tension.
ZUMBA – Get your body moving to the beat of the music while working up a sweat with a smile on your face from beginning to end.
Group class capacity
Whether you’re doing Pilates, Barre, Zumba or Stretch classes, our group classes are small with a maximum of 6-8 ladies in a class. This allows us to pay careful attention to each individual. They are focused on technique and getting the best out of each client while providing a social space for clients to get to know each other too!
We don’t encourage drop-in classes as we try to keep the same group of ladies together throughout the course of their training, as much as possible. We find that this helps to build camaraderie between the group, helping them to encourage and motivate each other while they strengthen their bodies and move forward together.

- 06:30 to 20:00 Monday to Thursday.
- 06:30 to 18:00 Fridays.
- 08:00 to 13:00 Saturdays.
- 08:00 to 12:00 Sundays.
